Things with my African American sociology professor took a turn for the infuriating today after I took many of your advise, Wednesday, and prepared myself with an argument to present today of why the atrocities of other races are **just as significant for discussion as the atrocities he ad nauseum cites that whites have committed against blacks (and other 'people of color'.
My Professor (Dr. Jacobs') reply attempted to demonstrate that all of the atrocities of the modern world are the result of Western or white "racial imperialism" and "economic oppression". Not only wasn't I ready for this rebuttal but his question asking that "if blacks have the right to make 'preemptive' strikes against us when we to them are the racial terrorists we have accused others of being" left me silent.
My blood is boiling because he defining things like breaking into our houses while we sleep and carjacking and robbing us when we are defenseless and blind to the same thing as our 'preemptive strikes" on Iraq. He based it on

which he actually read aloud in class... . Isn't this crossing the line e.g. tantamount to shouting fire in a crowded theater - and isn't that against the law?
